So mom and I finally did it! We went to Wade's Tattooing in Lancaster and got our tragus piercings!!! I got my right tragus, she got her left, and I pulled a "Jill" and surprised everyone by getting my nose pierced... That's how I am though... Last minute decisions are my specialty. So here I am pre-tragus piercing:

I make pain look good ;)
I tried to talk him into just leaving that needle in there, but he advised against it ;) And here I am post-tragus piercing: So there it is :) Let me tell you though, it was sooo painful! Most people have no problems with their tragus - it's a fairly common, fairly easy and pain-free procedure. Unfortunately in this case, I am not like most people... Eric (the artist who did our peircings) said that my tragus is the 2nd or 3rd hardest he's ever pierced. He was pushing with all his might and it was not going through. I actually have some pretty funny pictures of my face all contorted because of the pain, but those are not going to be made viewable by the public. I now have a bruise from the forceps he uses to clamp your ear, but hey - it looks cute :) Anyway, overall, though extremely painful, it was a good experience. In 4-6 weeks I can put a hoop in it - depending on the healing process and how that's going. :) I love it! Now onto the nose... Unfortunately, no before pictures, since I wasn't planning on doing it at all... but here are some during pictures:
  Here I am post-nose piercing:
I look like such a happy camper, huh? I was still in some pain and I was freezing cold! But there you have it ladies and gentlemen... The new piercings of Jillian Funk... Just lemme know what ya think! :) Love you guys! Peace |
